Tranquillity and Ease

Listen to the whisper of the wind upon the water, can you hear the chanting of the moonlight in the trees. Does it take you back, now to a place you once remembered, where life was filled with laughter love tranquillity and ease.

For you those days are long gone now and life is filled with hardship, the anger deep within your soul, is clear for all to see, but I can still remember when your life was filled with passion, come with me and let’s find that place so I can set you free.

The old grey man he bowed his head and walked into the darkness, the young girl rose up to her feet and followed faithfully, for days they wandered in the dark the mists of time around them, until they reached a clearing near an old abandoned tree.

The old grey man he whispered do you think I am a stranger, or can you see some part of you reflected now in me. The young girl looked into his eyes and there to her amazement, an image of herself looked back the way she used to be.

With golden hair and eyes so bright she thought was mistaken, could this face, which shone so brightly once belong to me. And as she starred into his eyes she started to remember, though long ago the past returned the way it used to be.

She looked up and she realised the sun was slowly rising, the old grey man was nowhere now and neither was the tree. She turned around to hear the sound of someone softly calling; a familiar voice from long ago she knew she must be free.
